A daytime approach to an undertreated health problem.
REMA Sleep is developing a non-invasive device for obstructive sleep apnea, built on resonant technology and led by a founder with a track record of bringing airway innovation to market.
Sleep apnea is common, serious, and largely undiagnosed.
Obstructive sleep apnea affects a large share of the population, yet most cases are never identified or treated. Left unmanaged, it is linked to serious downstream conditions.
Untreated obstructive sleep apnea has been associated with stroke, heart attack, diabetes, and depression,4 making earlier and easier intervention a meaningful clinical goal.
A different way to condition the airway.
Non-invasive and worn while awake
The device is worn around the neck for roughly 30 minutes during the day, not overnight.
Resonant technology
It is designed to condition the airway using a resonant mechanotherapy approach.
Designed to be simple and accessible
The approach aims to be easy to use and low cost relative to existing options.
On a defined regulatory pathway
The device is being pursued through the FDA 510(k) pathway.
The opportunity sits inside what we believe to be a sizeable and expanding market for sleep apnea devices, with an established regulatory route.
Founder-led, with established airway experience.
